Anyhow, I always have a lot of anal play and anal punishment in my books and I guess I was wondering if I needed to tone it down. Well, she was very sweet. I didn't know her so well at the moment as I do now but she said to me 'well Natasha, we expect anal from you.'
I'll be honest, that took me back. It made me think. Is it true? When people pick up one of my books, do they expect anal? I always think I'm giving the gift of anal in my books but is it not received so by the readers? I don't know. But I still like anal so I'm sharing a short piece with you with - you guessed it - anal.
This scene begins with Jess over Jackson's knee at the end of a spanking. It was a mix of fun and punishment but more fun...

She turned to look over her shoulder at him.

Jess groaned and began to move but rather than rising, she slid to her knees between his legs.

Too much anal is like saying too much money, or too much beauty, or too much love. Is that even a thing? Anyway, I am very much pro anal :)
BTW -- I stumbled across a marketing survey of romance/erotica readers awhile back (I wish I could remember where I read it), and one of the findings that jumped out at me was the huge percentage of readers who wanted MORE anal. It was such a large percentage that it made me decide including anal in a story was a complete marketing no-brainer.
It's "forbidden", so it's alluring, thus readers want to read about it.

love the snippet, Natasha. but yeah, I agree with Tara- no such thing as too much- if a person likes it. So to me, it's one of those "mention it in the blurb, in the warning." For me, something like "a lot of anal interaction" is going to encourage me to buy a book
