I wanted to continue the scene I've been sharing from Amy's Strict Doctor, my book in the What the Doctor Ordered collection. “Yes, sir.” She then looked back and reached a hand to touch his wrist. “I’m sorry, Cade,” she said, her eyes searching his. Panicked, her head snapped backward. “No! Please don’t!”

“You can relax your arms,” he said, tossing the towel onto a chair and sitting back down on the bed.

She did, but she wouldn’t look back at him. He checked his watch.

“We’ll be ready to take it out in a few minutes,” he said, turning the thermometer a little.

“How will you punish me?” she asked without looking at him.

“You’ll be sent to stand in the corner with your bare bottom on display while thinking about what you did, how you earned this punishment. After that, I’ll take you over my knee and spank you.”

“Spank me?” she asked, glancing back first at him, then at his large right hand.

“I trust you. I love you. I sometimes don’t understand why you love me, but…”

“That’s enough of that,” he said, cutting her off. “Turn back and face the headboard now.”

“Yes, sir.”

“Good girl,” he said. “Lift up a little onto your knees, arch your back, and push your bottom up.”
