"She's going to be fine," he told me soothingly, as he rubbed my back. "He'll make sure she doesn't do anything like that again. And, no, he won't be too hard on her," he added as I started to speak. I sighed and sank back down in Tom's lap.
"I hope you're right."

"I am," he said firmly. "Now, let's talk about your actions today..."

"My actions? What about my actions? I didn't do anything wrong," I insisted.
"Well now, you weren't exactly honest with Ryan when he called, and the boy was really worried," Tom began.
"Tom, I didn't lie to you. Are you saying I have to tell everyone in the world all I know? I wanted to hear the facts from Allie before I spoke with Ryan."
"And did you get the 'facts' by talking to Allie?"
I chose to ignore this question, and Tom went on. "But not coming clean with Ryan isn't why I'm spanking you."

"Spanking me! You're not spanking me at all." I tried to rise, but Tom held me firmly.
"Don't you even think about it, buster – I didn't do anything."
"Do you know how I feel about you texting me?" he asked. "Do you know how I feel about you turning off your phone?" Tom's tone was mild, but he wasn't letting go.
"Tom, I've turned off my phone at other times when I was eating with friends, it would be rude to take a call while at a lunch," I informed him.
"Girl, you weren't dining, you were trying to hide from Ryan and me. That's not the same thing."
Apparently Tom felt he'd talked long enough. Standing up, he set me on my feet and led me, still protesting, to the bedroom.
"That's enough," Tom said firmly, putting his finger to my lips. With the skill of a man who has practiced a lifetime, I was bare bottomed and over his knee in no time.

My worrying wouldn't have done Allie any good anyway. Bless her heart, she had chosen her actions and she was living with the consequences. I got to hear about her consequences later that evening.

“Your brother,” it took me two tries to say the words without my voice breaking, and I glanced once more in Gabriel’s direction, hoping I’d chosen well.

“Too bad, but I imagine I’ll get my turn soon. Kneel up on the tree stump, facing the others,” Syn said.

I went to the stump, unsure how he would position me, how much it would hurt, how humiliating this punishment would be, and I knelt on top of it, my gaze on the ground a few feet from me as I still tried in vain to cover myself.

Syn came to stand to my side and leaned down so his mouth was at my ear. “Now, I can hold you down for this, but I’d like for you to submit to your punishment as an example to the rest over there,” he spoke so that only I could hear his words. “If I have to make you take it, then you’ll watch as each girl takes a turn right here where you kneel now and they’ll all know whose fault it was. Understand?”

“I’ve never… no one has… please don’t do this. I’m sorry,” my pleading embarrassed me, but for the moment, fear overrode pride.

He smiled, “Shh. I had the boys peel the branches for you.”

Devon's Discipline, a Paranormal #Spanking Romance by Adaline Raine

Thanks so much for sharing a snippet of my newest release, Devon's Discipline published by Stormy Night Publications.

It's an erotic paranormal romance about a young college junior who begins to drink alcohol to cope with the tragic and sudden loss of both of her parents. She signs up for a class with Professor Matthews who takes an interest in her behavior after he hears she is not going to other classes and he assures her that he will help her get her missing motivation back. His punishments include bare bottom spankings and they serve as a reminder to be respectful to herself and him.

The excerpt below is at the beginning of the story and is the first time Devon begins to think Matthews is attracted to her as much as she is to him. I love the tension here and hope everyone else feels it too.

Take that spanking and you'll have my forgiveness #Spanking romance NEW RELEASE

Taming Naia was released yesterday and I'm here sharing a snippet from it. I waited what feels like ages to see this book in its current state and hope you enjoy the piece below.


This first chapter is probably one of my favorites of all time. In this scene, Naia and Liam have seen each other again for the first time in ten years. She is about to tell him why she came...

“Do I make you nervous, Ms. White?” he asked.

She shook her head, her eyes huge with anxiety.

“Liar.”

“I should go. I’ve said what I came to say and you clearly don’t care,” she said.

His hand once again closed over her thigh.
“You want to make amends? Why? Wait, let me guess, you’ve found Jesus?” he asked, playing with her. This time he didn’t ease up the pressure on her leg even when she made a small, pained noise. “Why, Ms. White?”


Because I can’t get you out of my mind, her brain screamed. But her answer to him was a little different. “I feel... guilty, I suppose.”


“So you want to ease your conscience.” It was a statement, not a question, and she could see that he was thinking.


She waited.


“All right,” he began. “Perhaps your guilt’s been left unpunished for too long. Has it festered? Making you uncomfortable? How far are you willing to go to ease it, Ms. White?”


She waited, knowing from the look in his eyes that he had a plan, wondering herself how far she was willing to go.


“What if I suggested we start where you claimed I left off ten years ago,” he said.


She flushed, knowing what he was alluding to. She’d known he would, hadn’t she? Wasn’t this what she wanted in fact? “What do you mean?” she asked, pretending she did not understand.


“Oh, you’re a smart girl. I think you have some idea. But I’ll spell it out for you,” he paused, smiling once again before he continued. “You told the board that I spanked you, isn’t that right?”

Shame brought color back to her cheeks. “In my defense, you did threaten...” 


“You knew it wasn’t serious,” he cut her off, no flirtation in his tone.


“I...” she began, but she knew that he was right.


“You knew.” If looks could kill...


“Yes, I knew,” she said.
