A few months ago, friend and author Sue Lyndon asked me if I'd be interested in being part of a box set for Valentine's Day. I always get nervous about committing to things like this because I will forever lack to the confidence to say 'yes, I can get that story done by such and such date'. I just published my 20th book and still, same thing! It's crazy, but Sue was smart. She gave me a lot of time and advance warning so I wrote a story, then decided it did not work and trashed it, then wrote another one, Stepbrother Jerk, which I think works :) I hope so at least, just look at the names alongside mine on the set! No pressure... yikes!
